Parker Pubs continues its outstanding work documenting the extraordinary history of the Project Blowed scene and the West Coast underground. Having previously turned the spotlight on its rappers, the publisher now focuses on ten of its leading beatmakers, exploring the dilemmas of underground life while reminding us of the criminally overlooked gems these artists have produced.
After performing with Global Phlowtations – a collective within the extended Project Blowed family – Thavius Beck established himself first as one half of Labwaste, before earning further recognition through his solo work. His finest album, however, may well be this understated compilation of instrumental tracks, released only on CD-R and in digital format under his original alias, Adlib.
